Transport tip It is recommended to drive or take a shuttle bus. Parking inside the ancient town is limited; on holidays, park in the parking lot outside the town.

Family tip The main street of the ancient town is flat and easy to walk, suitable for strollers. There are children's play facilities by the river, and you can take your kids to feed the fish along the Wei River.

Photography tip Early morning is less crowded, ideal for shooting empty scenes of the old street; in the evening, the river reflects the sunset, perfect for capturing water-town night views.

Rainy-day tip When it rains, the blue-stone roads are slippery, so be careful. You can take shelter in a teahouse or under a covered bridge; the rainy scenery also has its own charm.
